About a fortnight ago, Isabelle was taken aback when she spotted a fluffy silhouette scaling her balcony. It turned out to be a hungry kitten on a daring food quest. Isabelle, a devoted cat enthusiast who also volunteers at her local animal rescue, promptly supplied a dish of nourishment for the petite feline guest.

The kitten eagerly devoured nearly half of the kibbles, then, with curiosity in her eyes, she observed the indoor resident cats through the window.

This kitten, scrawny and dirt-covered, appeared to have adopted the balcony as her makeshift sanctuary. Isabelle cautiously opened the door, ensuring not to startle the little intruder. Remarkably, the kitten didn’t recoil or escape but gazed up at Isabelle with her wide, innocent eyes until she was gently scooped up and brought indoors.

The rescued kitten was placed in a tranquil room equipped with abundant cat food, fresh water, and cozy blankets. Celine, from Chatons Orphelins Montreal, shared with Love Meow, “She was overjoyed to finally have someone to look after her.”

Isabelle inquired within her neighborhood, hoping to reunite the lost kitten with her owner, but no one was seeking her.

The name Typia was bestowed upon the kitten, estimated to be around four months old. “Isabelle reached out to us for support to help the kitten receive the best care and find a loving home.”

Typia had a ravenous appetite, having endured a period of starvation. “She was alone on the streets, a baby searching for aid. Fortunately, she found the right balcony for help.”

Typia received treatment for her stomach ailments and a much-needed spa day. With a diet of nutritious food, a safe haven, and plenty of tender loving care, Typia began to regain her strength.

Initially cautious of sudden noises, she soon emerged from her shell and developed a deep bond with her foster mom. She felt secure and cherished whenever she was in the company of her humans.

“She now resides with other feline companions in her foster home and eagerly seeks to be part of their crew,” Celine told Love Meow.

Typia adores being petted, purring as soon as she is cuddled. She particularly enjoys having her ears scratched and, when seeking more attention, she pleads with her eyes.

This sweet kitten enjoys following her human and feline companions around the house, ensuring she always has a friend nearby.

“She is incredibly inquisitive, sociable, and playful. If we pick up a feather wand toy, she comes running, eager to play.”

“Often, we find her basking in the sun by the window, alongside the head kitty of the household. At night, she cuddles with us on our bed and gently paws at us when seeking affection.”
